SAEST functions as a Registered Professional Society founded
on 14th Nov 1964 with its Headquarters at CECRI campus, Karaikudi. SAEST
has currently about 1620 members comprising students, researchers, scientists,
professors, R&D personnel, executives from Government and private
organizations, consultants and industrialists.
The society functions according to a memorandum, Constitution and Bye-Laws framed by the legitimate body. It is managed and run by a team comprising elected office bearers once in two years. For active involvement of members working in different parts of the country, SAEST has formed local chapters and arranges National Seminars on different areas of Electrochemical Technology. |
